Warranty of Air Leak Testers

Cosmo’s Air Leak Testers are featured with high performance and excellent durability. Especially, standard Leak Testers with Intelligent Pneumatic Circuit are provided with features such as Self Check to check the pneumatic circuit and the sensor and Self Cleaning so that the Leak Testers can be reliably used on production lines.
In addition to the Standard Warranty, Premium Warranty and Designated Parts Warranty are available.

Details of Warranties in Japan

One-year Standard Warranty
Repair is provided free of charge for up to one year from the date of reception for the troubles and malfunctions for which we are responsible.
Three-year Premium Warranty
The main units of Leak Testers equipped with Intelligent Pneumatic Circuit are covered by this warranty for up to three years from the date of reception.
Five-year Designated Parts Warranty
the standard Air Leak Testers equipped with Intelligent Pneumatic Circuit are covered by this warranty for up to five years after the date of reception.

Description		We bear the expenses of the repair parts, repairing and inspection/calibration for the troubles and malfunctions for which we are responsible. Air Leak Testers Purchased with International Warranty

2-year Warranty （Warranty for up to 24 months from the date of shipment）
Our local representatives provide repair services free of charge.The tester has to be carried in by the customer to the Cosmo’s local office. The customer is responsible for the travel and accommodation expenses for on-site services.
Support Registration
With details of the customer’s test specifications provided by the customer beforehand, Cosmo’s local representatives can perform accurate and on-target services promptly.

Note: The Premium Warranty and Designated Parts Warranty are limited to Japan.

Cases Not Covered by Warranty

The warranty period has expired. The plate showing the serial no. and the production date is not attached on the product.
Troubles or malfunctions caused by repair, adjustment, or modification not conducted by Cosmo.
Troubles or malfunctions caused by improper handling or use in improper condition or environment in a manner that does not conform to the Operation Manual.
Troubles or malfunctions caused by foreign substance, such as water, oil and dust, from the pressure source, tested part or reference master part entering into the product. Troubles or malfunctions caused by any other reason than that attributable to the product.
Damage, trouble and malfunction of a unit, such as the machine or jig, other than the product.
Damage caused by wear, change of property, rust, mold, contamination and/or change of color. Damage to the external appearance, such as bruise, that produces no problem for use.
Troubles or malfunctions caused by reasons unforeseeable due to the technological standard at the time the product was shipped from Cosmo.
Troubles or malfunctions due to use outside Japan without International Warranty.
